Our impact

The tiger comes first, always.

Every Kangjei Tiger Co. polo carries the Royal Bengal tiger. That carries an obligation, so a part of every purchase is donated to tiger preservation in India.

Around 1900, India had an estimated 40,000 tigers. By 2006, hunting, poaching and habitat loss had brought that down to 1,411. Project Tiger, launched in 1973, set up protected reserves, and since 2006 the count has more than doubled.

Why the tiger

The Royal Bengal tiger is India's national animal. It is our emblem, our embroidery and the reason for our name.

It felt wrong to borrow the animal without giving back to it.

Wear the tiger. Help keep him here.
